The song “Cheers (Drink to That)” is performed by Barbadian R&B recording artist Robyn Rihanna Fenty better known as simply Rihanna. The song was Rihanna’s seventh single from her fifth studio album, Loud. “Cheers (Drink to That)” is a slow churning, western bar-styled jam which uses Avril Lavigne‘s yodels from her hit “I’m With You” as the centerpiece of the chorus. It’s the perfect song to dance bar-top to — and Rihanna probably had that in mind as she sings, “It’s getting Coyote Ugly up in here, No Tyra,” on one of the verses. The song was written by Stacey Barthe, Laura Pergolizzi, Corey Gibson, Chris Ivery, Lauren Christy, Graham Edwards, Avril Lavigne, Scott Spock and by The Runners, who also produced the song. The song was sent for radio adds in the United States on August 2, 2011. It debuted at #91 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart on the issue dated August 13, 2011. It also debuted at #46 on the Australian ARIA Charts.
